The Beatles Biography and History

The Beatles were an rock band that formed in Liverpool, England. The Beatles formed in 1960. Their early formation consist of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. Soon, they became widely regarded as the greatest and most influential band of the rock era. The Beatles' early genre was rock and roll. Later, they experimented with several genres, ranging from pop ballads to psychedelic rock, often incorporating classical elements in innovative ways. In the early 1960s, their enormous popularity first emerged as 'Beatlemania' who spread around the world. 

The Beatles Profile and History

The Beatles started built their reputation in 1960, when they playing clubs in Liverpool and Hamburg over a three-year period. Later, they gained popularity in the United Kingdom after their first hit, 'Love Me Do', become hits in 1962. They referred the nickname as the Fab Four, as Beatlemania grew in Britain over the following year. In 1964, The Beatles become international stars, leading the 'British Invasion' of the United States and music world industry pop market. 

Then, The Beatles release many albums, with minimum one album per year. Their album including some highest-selling album and widely influential albums Rubber Soul (1965), Revolver (1966), Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (1967), The Beatles (1968), and also Abbey Road (1969). Some of The Beatles songs also success peaked number one in some chart song in all over the world.

The Beatles decided to break-up in 1970. Their personal members decided to continue with solo carrer. With that decisions, The Beatles' carrer was over. But surely, they were, and still considered as the greatest band in music industry ever.

The Beatles hold record the best-selling band in the United States, with 177 million certified units. They have had more number-one albums on the British charts and sold more singles in the UK than any other artists. In 2008, the group topped Billboard magazine's list of the all time most successful 'Hot 100' artists. They also have received 7 Grammy Awards, and included as 100 most influential people of the 20 century in Time magazine's compilation. The Beatles also hold record as best-selling band in history, with estimating sales of over one billion units. And in 2004, Rolling Stone's magazine ranked The Beatles as the greatest artist of all time.
