Muse Albums, Discography and Biography

Muse are an English rock band. Muse formed in 1994 in Teignmouth, Devon, England. They consists of Matthew Bellamy (vocal and guitar), Christopher Wolstenholme (bass) and Dominic Howard (drum). Muse brough many music genres, including alternative rock, progressive rock, symphony rock, space rock and progressive metal. They are one of the most famous rock band currently. Thus far, Muse has released six studio album, four live album and some compilation album. They are known mostly for their energetic and extravagant live performances during the show. Muse also considered as one of the greatest band of the 2000s.



Muse released their debut album, Showbiz in 1999. This album contained melancholic musical style and its lyrics mostly about human relationship. Their second album, Origin of Symmetry released in 2001. In this album, Matt Bellamy as composer and songwriter experimented with strange and unusual instrumentation, such church organ, expanded drum kit or even animal bones. Origin Symmetry was well received by critics. This album also contain some single such Plug in Baby and cover song of Anthony Newley and Leslie Bricusse's Feeling Good.

In 2003, Absolution released as their third studio album. This album produced six singles including some hits that reach top ten chart such Hysteria and Time Is Running Out. Muse's fourth album released in 2006 named Black Holes and Revelations. This album charted at number one in UK and Australia. Some of its single such Supermassive Black Hole, Starlight and Knight of Cydonia became worldwide hits. 

The band's fifth album, The Resistance released in 2009 with Uprising song became its lead single. This album also became the best-selling Muse studio album and also receive positive critics. The Resistance praise for including classical music influences and the thirteen-minute and three-part of Exogenesis : Symphony. Muse sixth studio album, The 2nd Law released in 2012.

They have won some awards, including a Grammy Awards, five MTV Europe Music Awards, eight NME Awards, two Brit Awards and many others. With all of their popularity, Muse considered as one of the most iconic rock band in present era.
