Foo Fighters is an American rock band which also influenced with alternative rock, hard rock and post-grunge music. Foo Fighters formed in Seattle in 1994. The band founded by former Nirvana drummer, Dave Grohl as one-man project following the death of Nirvana's frontman Kurt Cobain which made Nirvana abandoned. Dave Grohl later recruited some additional member and formed Foo Fighters. Currently, Foo Fighters consisted of Dave Grohl (lead vocal), Nate Mendel (bass), Pat Smear (rhythm), Chris Shiflett (guitar) and Taylor Hawkins (drum). Foo Fighters won ten Grammy Awards, including four Best Rock Album category and three Best Hard Rock Performance category.
