Linkin Park is an American rock band. They were formed in Agoura Hills, California in 1996. Linkin Park consists of Chester Bennington (lead vocal), Mike Shinoda (guitar, keyboard, vocal, rap), Dave Farrell 'Phoenix' (bass), Brad Delson (guitar), Rob Bourdon (drum) and Joe Hahn (turntables). Linkin Park combine alternative rock music with rap performed by Mike Shinoda and turntables sound performed by Joe Hahn. They influenced with alternative rock genres, as well as other genres such nu metal, rap rock and hip hop. Linkin Park reach international success after released their debut album, Hybrid Theory in 2000. They also known with their amazing concert live show. Currently, Linkin Park considered as one of the best alternative rock band in the world. They collected big fanbase in all over the world, especially in Europe and Asia.

Linkin Park Profile and Biography

Linkin Park released their debut album, Hybrid Theory in 2000. It became international success and made Linkin Park reach global fame. Some of its biggest single include In the End, Crawling and One Step Closer. Meteora released in 2003 as Linkin Park second album. This album also continued the band's success, with some biggest hits such Faint, Breaking the Habit and Numb which enter some chart song in the world. 

The first two albums of Linkin Park was heavy influenced by nu metal and rap rock genres. In their third album, Minutes to Midnight which released in 2007, Linkin Park explored other genres and music style. Linkin Park released their fourth studio album, A Thousand Suns in 2010 with more electronic sounds and beat. Their fifth studio album, Living Things was released in 2012.

Three songs has released for three Transformers movie soundtrack, such What I've Done (Transformer, 2007), New Divide (Transformer 2, 2009) and Iredescent (Transformer 3, 2011).

In 2003, MTV2 named Linkin Park as the sixth-greatest band of the music video era and also the third-best of the new millennium. Billboard has ranked Linkin Park No. 19 on the Best Artists of the Decade chart. The band also voted as the greatest artists of the 2000s according VH1. With all of their popularity, currenly Linkin Park is one of the best rock bands in the moden era.
