Blink-182 is an American punk band. Blink-182 formed in Poway, a suburb of San Diego, California in 1992. The band consists of vocalist and bassist Mark Hoppus, guitarist and vocalist Tom DeLonge, and also drummer Travis Barker. Blink-182 considered as one of the band who development of pop punk music with punk rock combination. Blink-182 has sold over 35 million albums world-wide from 6 studio albums and other compilations album. Some of their biggest including All the Small Things, I Miss You, First Date, The Rock Show, Dammit and many other. They regarded as the greatest and most influential punk band of the 1990s.

The band's name initially known as Blink. But later Irish band, Blink, threatened legal action. Then, they appended -182 behind Blink for no reason and the band's name became Blink-182. They released their first album, Chesire Cat in 1995. Two years later, Dude Ranch released as their second studio album. Its featured their first rock radio hit, Dammit. Their third album, Enema of the State was an enormous success on the strength of hit singles What's My Age Again?, Adam's Song and All the Small Things, which enjoyed massive airplay and became Blink-182 greatest song. Blink-182 also considered as one of the best punk rock band of the 90s.

Blink-182 released their fourth album, Take Off Your Pants and Jacket in 2001. This album reached number 1 in the United States, Canada, and Germany. In 20013, Blink-182 released their fifth album and marked a stylistic shift for the group, infusing experimental elements into their usual pop punk formula, resulting in a more mature sound. Later, Blink-182 decided in hiatus in 2005. The trio later reunited in 2009 released their sixth studio album, Neighborhoods, in 2011.
