Coldplay are a famous British rock band. Coldplay formed in 1996 in London, England. Coldplay consists of lead vocalist Chris Martin, lead guitarist Jonny Buckland, bassist Guy Berryman and drummer Will Champion. Coldplay is considered as one of the best bands of the 2000s. The band's music style influenced by alternative rock and post-britpop. They has won many awards, including 7 Grammy Awards from twenty-five nominations. Coldplay have sold more than 60 million records worldwide. Some of their biggest hits such Viva la Vida, In My Place, Fix You, Speed of Sound, Clocks and Yellow.

Coldplay released their debut album, Parachutes in 2000. This album help Coldplay achieved worldwide fame with the release of its first single, Yellow. The band's second album, A Rush of Blood to the Head released in 2002 and won multiple awards including NME's Album of the Year. Some single released and reach international success such Clocks, In My Place and The Scientists.

Their third album, X&Y released in 2005 and became the best-selling album worldwide in 2005. X&Y receive mostly positive reviews upon its release. Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends was released as Coldplay's fourth studio album. This album earning several Grammy nominations and wins at the 51st Grammy Awards. Single Viva la Vida became one of most popular Coldplay songs overall. The band released their fifth studio album, Mylo Xyloto at 24 October 2011. It became UK's best-selling rock album of 2011.
