U2 are an Irish rock band. U2 formed in Dublin, Ireland, in 1976. The band cosist of Bono (vocals and guitar), The Edge (guitar, keyboards, and vocals), Adam Clayton (bass and guitar), and Larry Mullen Jr (drum). U2 become one of few band that can maintain their popularity in four decades (1980s, 1990s, 2000, 2010s) until present day. U2 also known as current the most highest paid band in the world. They receive many awards, including 22 Grammy Awards, more than any other bands in history. U2 held many big concert. Their U2 360 degree World Tour from 2009 to 2011 became the highest-attended and highest-grossing concert tour in history.

U2 started their professional career in 1980 when released their debut album, Boy. By the mid-1980s, they became a top international act. The released of album The Joshua Tree became their succesful peaked in 1980s. This album was U2's highest-selling album, with some hits such With or Without You, Where the Streets Have No Name and I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For. In 1990s, U2 also released some highest-selling album. Their song, One from album Achtung Baby (1991) became one of the most popular song in music history. It was the U2 greatest hits too.

U2 continue their breakthrough success in 2000s with three studio albums released. They were All That You Can't Leave Behind in 2000, How to Dismatle an Atomic Bomb in 2004 and No Line on the Horizon in 2009. They became the most highest paid band in the world. Later, U2 held 360 degree World Tour from 2009 until 2011. This concert labelled as the highest-attended and highest-grossing concert tour in history. Until now, U2 has released 12 studio albums, including some high-profile album such The Joshua Tree (1987), Achtung Baby (1991) and All That You Can't Leave Behind (2000).
