Red Hot Chili Peppers Albums and Biography

Red Hot Chili Peppers are an American funk rock band and often called RHCP. Red Hot Chili Peppers formed in Los Angeles, United States in 1983, consisted of Anthony Kiedis as lead vocalist, Hillel Slovak as lead guitarist, Michael 'Flea' Balzary as bassist, and also Jack Irons as drummer. Currently, only Kiedis and Flea, the original lineup remaining. The other members are Chad Smith as drummer and Joshn Klinghoffer as guitarist, who replaced John Frusciante in late 2009. The band's music style consists of rock with funk element, as well as other elements such punk rock and psychedelic rock. Red Hot Chili Peppers has sold more over 80 million records worldwide, and became one of the best-selling bands of all time.

Red Hot Chili Peppers Profile and Biography
Red Hot Chili Peppers released their debut album in 1984. The second and third album, Freaky Styley and The Uplift Mofo Party Plan, were released in 1985 and 1987 respectively. In 1988 guitarist Hillel Slovak died because heroin overdose. The death of his friend made drummer Jack Irons chose to depart from the bands. Later, the line-up of Flea, Kiedis, Frusciante and Smith was the longest-lasting, and recorded five studio albums starting with 1989's Mother's Milk. 

In 1990s, Red Hot Chili Peppers gained their biggest popularity after Blood Sugar Sex Magik released in 1991. This album became the band's first commercial success, after their four previos albums. One Hot Minute released as Red Hot Chili Pepeprs' sixth album in 1995. And in 1999, Californication album released and became the best-selling Red Hot Chili Peppers album with 15 million copies sold worldwide. This album also feature some hits, such Otherside, Californication, Scar Tissue and Around the World. With some of their achievement in 1990s, Red Hot Chili Peppers also considered as one of the biggest band in 1990s era.

Three years after Californication, Red Hot Chili Peppers released their next album, By the Way, featured some song such By the Way, Can't Stop and The Zephyr Song. And four years later, Stadium Arcadium released with double album format. This album also nominate in Grammy Awards for Best Rock Album and the song Dani California nominate in Record of the Year album. After Stadium Arcadium, the group went on an extender hiatus. In 2011, Red Hot Chili Pepepers decide to reunited and released their tenth studio album, titled I'm with YouUntil now, Red Hot Chili Peppers has released 10 studio albums, including some of their biggest album such Blood Sugar Sex Magik (1991), Californication (1999), By the Way (2002) and Stadium Arcadium (2006).

RHCP also won many awards and achievement, including seven Grammy Awards. In 2012, they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Red Hot Chili Peppers also become one of the best-selling bands of all time, with selling records more than 80 million copies world-wide.
