Guns N' Roses Albums and Biography
Guns N' Roses (often referred as Guns & Roses, Guns and Roses or GNR) is a popular American rock band. Guns N' Roses formed in Los Angeles, California, US in 1985. The first Guns N' Roses' lineup consisted of vocalist Axl Rose, lead guitarist Slash, rhythm guitarist Izzy Stradlin, bassist Duff McKagan, and drummer Steven Adler. Guns N' Roses' lineup had several changers and Axl Rose is the only remaining original member until present day. Besides Axl Rose, other Guns N' Roses' member now are keyboardist Dizzy Reed, lead guitarists DJ Ashba and Bumblefoot, rhythm guitarist Richard Fortus, bassist Tommy Stinson, drummer Frank Ferrer, and keyboardist Chris Pitman. Guns N' Roses was one of the best-selling bands in music history of all time, with more than 100 million records world-wide. They also considered as one of the world's greatest band of all time.
Guns N' Roses' debut album, which titled Appetite for Destruction released in July 7th, 1987. This album succesful comercially with 28 million copies worldwide. That making Appetite for Destruction the best-selling debut album of all time in the US. Gun N' Roses became one of few bands that can break international success with their debut album. Later, this album also reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 one year after its released. Three single were released from this album, Welcome to the Jungle, Paradise City and also Sweet Child O'Mine, which reach No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and became the only Gun N' Roses' song to reached that. This song was one of the best song of the 80s. Sweet Child O'Mine also considered as the best Guns N' Roses' song of all time. This album was followed by G N' R Lies (1988).
Guns N' Roses continue their mainstream succes in 1991, after released twin albums, Use Your Illusion I and Use Your Illusion II. Those two albums released in the same year, and debuted at No. 2 and No. 1 on the Billboard 200 respectively. It sold a combined 35 million worldwide, including 14 million units sold in the United States alone. Later, Guns N' Roses held world tour titled Use Your Illusion Tour. This concert tour held in 28 months period in some country all over the world. During the tour, Izzy decide to left the band.
In 1993, Guns N' Roses released their fifth studio albums, The Spaghetti Incident. Despite initial success, The Spaghetti Incident did not match the sales of the Illusion albums and its release consequently led to increased tension within the band. Because some reasons, the band's member later deciding to quit one by one and only Axl Rose left as the original member of Guns N' Roses. The latest Guns N' Roses album, Chinese Democracy released in 2008 with most of new members.

Guns N' Roses have been credited with reviving the mainstream popularity of rock music, at a time when popular music was dominated by dance music and pop metal. Guns N' Roses also referred as The Most Dangerous Band in the World because their loud hard rock music. The band's classic line-up, were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012. Guns N' Roses was one of the best-selling bands in music history of all time, with more than 100 million records world-wide.
