Oasis were an English rock band that gained their popularity most in 90s. Oasis formed in Manchester, England in 1991. Oasis consisted of Liam Gallagher (vocal), Noel Gallagher (guitar), Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs (guitar), Paul 'Guigsy' McGuigan (bass), Tony McCarroll (drum). Oasis has sold an estimated more over 70 million records world-wide, making them one of the best-selling band in UK of all time. Oasis also considered as the pioneer of britpop music, alongside with their bands rival, Blur, in decade 1990s. Oasis has received several awards, such fifteen NME Awards, nine Q Awards, four MTV Europe Music Awards and six Brit Awards.

Oasis started their career by released their debut album, Definitely Maybe in 1994. But later, Oasis gained popularity with their second album, Morning Glory, in the following year with its two lead single, Wonderwall and Don't Look Back in Anger. Morning Glory album was a commercial success, becoming the fourth best-selling album in UK Chart history with over four million copies sold world-wide and produced some of Oasis greatest hits. In this periode, Oasis also has rivalry with other Britpop bands, Blur. Oasis or Blur has battle in UK chart song. The rivalry between Oasis with Blur often referred as the Battle of Britpop.

In 1997, Oasis has released their third album, Be Here Now. Its became the fastest-selling album in UK chart history. McGuigan and Arthurs left Oasis in 1999 as the band went on to record and release Standing on the Shoulder of Giants in the same year. After their departures, they were replaced by Gem Archer and Andy Bell who joined the group for the tour in support of Standing on the Shoulder of Giants album. Heathen Chemistry was the fifth studio albums of Oasis, released in 2002. Oasis later released two albums again, Don't Believe the Truth (2005) and Dig Out Your Soul (2008) as their latest studio albums.

Oasis had sold an estimated 70 million records worldwide, making them one of the best-selling band in UK of all time
